1 Check that you qualify
You qualify if any one of these is true:
- SNAP
- Medicaid
- SSDI or SSI
- WIC
- Lifeline
- Housing assistance (Section 8, public housing and similar)
- Veterans’ programs for housing or benefits
- Free or reduced public school lunch
- A prison re-entry program
- Unhoused, or in temporary or transitional housing
- Household income under 200% of the federal poverty line
Have something that shows you qualify ready, like a benefits letter.
